What was the highlight of Casa Pedro Romero

Overall it was comfortable and clean. Great location but way over priced compared to other places in that neighborhood.

Owner was very nice and she made a killer breakfast.

No mirror in the bathroom, most of the outlets didn’t work and the internet was terrible.

The location is fantastic. Directly in a lively part of town yet very quiet and peaceful at night.

The staff do not speak English although it is advertised. Likewise, no card payment was accepted. This was also indicated. Cash payment only. There were a few items missing from the room that were advertised such as hairdryer and shower kit etc.

Well located

The hotel is well located, next to many bars and restaurants, breakfast was good and the woman that was there is extremely friendly.

It’s in need of maintenance, there is no reception after 5pm, our room was next to the street so it was very loud, the bathroom doesn’t have a curtain or anything to separate the shower, so you end up having water all over the floor that doesn’t seems to drain anywhere, probably it was just our room.

Place was nice, but a little expensive for what it is.

The host waited up to let us in after arriving from a late flight into Cartagena and showed us around the room and property. Breakfast was nice and the room was big. Location was perfect in Getsemani.

Air con didn’t work too great and there was no hot water, for the price of the room it definitely wasn’t worth it.

Wonderful

Milena was a very helpful host. Breakfast was simple but lovely. Excellent location in the heart of Getsemeni. Comfortable air conditioned rooms, cleaned daily. Flat screen TV was a nice addition.

A gem in Getsemani

Located in the heart of the Getsemani district, there is plenty of food and art within an easy walking distance. The room had A/C which was perfect given the humid weather during our visit. The staff (Milena) was always accommodating, and breakfast was made to order (though the options are simple & remain the same each day).

While the booking says they have a laundry service, it appears the opposite it true. That aside, there's a wonderful laundromat a few blocks away that we made use of.

# amazing location right at the heart of Getsemani # loads of restaurants around # the plaza de la Trinidad is 1 minute walk # staff very helpful and friendly # good breakfast # good WiFi # money exchange is just 2 doors away 30 secs walk # there's a safe in the room

# the front/ main door lock is a challenge to deal with sometimes # don't take payments on Credit cards

Loved it, would go again in a heartbeat.

Easy to reach and central, it is located just around the corner of Plaza Trinidad which is noisy at the best of times but its marvelously peaceful inside. Great patio to read a book or hang out in the evening. Milena and the rest of the staff are amazing and so helpful. It's clean, the airco works and the breakfast is lovely. We had a great stay and will absolutely come again.

There wasn't any real disappointment for us at all but if your not one for cold showers in the blearing heat than you might want to look elsewhere (it's not freezing but not warm either). I personally found it invigorating and nice after 33 degrees days.
